Qualify Policy Recommendations _final

The specific objectives of QUALIFYwere: • To provide guidance practitioners and career advisors in each participating country with the latest, most effective and individualised methods and tools to support their work with unemployed; • To support and empower low skilled unemployed helping them to change their mind-set by discovering their strengths, skills and interests; • To promote European networking between private and public entities dealing with unemployed adults with holistic collaborative approaches to support, guide and develop methods and create conditions for tailored and personalised training. During the project, partner organisations in all four countries have been working with professionals and unemployed adults in order to map the situation, analyse their needs and to develop the training materials. Throughout the lifetime of the project, we have succeeded in establishing great networks with public and private entities that engaged in our activities. Altogether, 23 guidance professionals and 32 unemployed low skilled adults have participated in the user needs analysis needed to draft our project result # 1 “Comprehensive report on Career Guidance for Low Skilled Unemployed”. The competence framework for Career Coaches supporting low skilled unemployed was created with the help of 35 guidance professionals, who participated in the training sessions addressing their key competences when engaging with their unemployed clients. These modules were developed as part of our project result # 2 “Innovative Coaching Intervention Practices” and focused on soft-skills up skilling. In addition, the Circles methodology that was initially designed by the UK partner Inova in 2001 and tailored to Career Circles TM was implemented. This methodology was introduced in the face-to-face training. This approach was well received by the professionals who could see the benefits that the Circles provided, supporting more individual personal development, and offering and encouraging peer support as part of the programme. At the end of our project, we are proud to share our user-friendly Modern ICT supports tools, which contain three main resources: direction and plan, soft-skills and up-skilling, and branding strategies. Each resource comes with a webinar for users and explanations on how to use the tools. The aim is for these tools to be used on a daily basis by career professionals with their clients for them to be included in our stakeholders’ training packages, ensuring long-term sustainability of the benefits. 1.
