5. Possible Solutions and Support to Guidance professionals and Low Skilled Unemployed-using QUALIFY tools With the aim to provide solutions to both guidance professionals and low skilled adults QUALIFY has developed a variety of materials and support tools. Below are two primary actions that we have implemented during the QUALIFY project. These can be accessed freely through the project website: https://www.qualifyproject.eu TRAINING SOFT-SKILLS AND UP-SKILLING The QUALIFY soft skills and up-skilling training includes four modules that address the five key competences that career coaches need when engaging with their unemployed clients. These competences have been considered when identifying suitable training resources and have helped to create a course that meets the needs of both the professional and the client. “Soft-Skills Training and Up-skilling” should be delivered face to face in a class environment with suggested 4 hours duration for each module. The target group is career advisors or career professionals who are looking to make positive changes to their practice. The modules: Ȉ Ȉ Emotional Ingelligence Ȉ Ȉ Motivation, Learning to Learn and Action Learning Ȉ Ȉ Relational Competence, Brand You and Professionalism Ȉ Ȉ Personal Growth and Career Circles TM Each session begins with an introduction to the session and an icebreaker, chosen by each tutor. Conducting a soft skills assessment at the beginning of the learning and then again at the end of the learning, supports the evaluation and shows the progress achieved. Each module contains a pack for the facilitator of the session and a pack for the learner. The learning is a mix of group work, individual worksheets, videos, creative tasks and PowerPoint presentations. Each session ends with an evaluation and confirmation of the next session. 19 qualifyproject.eu
