More details will be provided in Chapter 3 - TARGET GROUP NEEDS ANALYSIS, page 40 and following. 1.3 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY FOLLOWED In the frame of the present Intellectual Output 1 “Building a Competence Framework for Career Coaches specialized in supporting low skilled unemployed”, two activities are mentioned: Activity O1/A1 – Analysis of Career Guidance in EU: desk research & qualitative interviews based on coaching interventions Activity 2O1/A”- Competence framework for Low Skilled Career Coaches containing both core and supporting competences In order to complete the abovementioned activities, partners agreed to: - Design a COMMON METHODOLOGY and tools conducting the analysis in four partners countries. This methodology was described in the Common Guidelines where partners identified the target group, tools, evidences, etc. - FIELD RESEARCH: a questionnaire conducted in four partner languages was developed for the survey in order to identify the methodologies and good practices as well as the needs and gaps in the professional guidance of low skilled unemployed people. Plus ANALYSIS OF RESULTS in order to: - Identify the competences that guidance professional need to have in order to professionally and efficiently addresses the needs of LSU.
