QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS FROM THE SURVEY WITH CAREER GUIDANCE PROFESSIONALS PER COUNTRY The questionnaires and qualitative interviews have concentrated on formulating open questions interviews and questionnaires to 23 career advisors and 32 low-skill adults that have participated in coaching or guidance activity. Next, we will analyse the results and the information obtained from the interviews and the questionnaires developed in every consortium’s country. We will start analysing the conclusions by country drawn by every partner. Those conclusions are based on the interviews done to Career Guidance Professionals. Before starting the analysis, we offered next the list of questions included on the interviews: 1. How long have you been working in the field of career guidance/coaching? 2. Do you imagine using coaching as part of your practice? 3. What are the main challenges and difficulties that you have faced in your career as career guidance? 4. How do you overcome the challenges and difficulties you face? 5. What are your needs as guidance professional (training, up-skilling, etc.)? What would make your career better? 6. Do you think career guidance and coaching is a developing field in your country? Why? Why not? 7. What are the main techniques that you use in your daily practice with low skilled adults and why? 8. What kind of competences are you missing or would like to improve in your professional practice? 3.1.1. SLOVAKIA All respondents were professionals active in the field of guidance and their experience in the field varies from 3 to 18 years. Although the respondents’ didn´t believe that coaching is a developing field in the country as regards question (2), all but one imagined using coaching in their daily practice. As far as concerns question (3) “what are the main challenges and difficulties that you face in your career” the most repeated challenge is the “lack of interest/motivation” of unemployed people. Also, the respondents highlighted the fact that guidance is an important task and the professionals working in this field need to be professional and motivated.
