TARGET GROUP NEEDS ANALYSIS This section has been created based on the Research Study —study described on the previous chapter of this document — that has been developed by every partner of this project during the period time from December 2017 to March 2018. But, above all, it has been created bearing in mind the obtained results on the qualitative interviews and questionnaires that has been filled in by career guidance professionals and unemployed adults. This part of the report is aimed at analysing the skills of the professional counselor to identify the essential key skills needed in the field of academic-professional guidance. For this, a mixed methodology has been followed (qualitative and quantitative) since various sources of data collection have been used: • On the one hand, qualitative interviews and questionnaires aimed at both Career Counselors (23, in total) and low-qualified adults (32, in total). • On the other, the documental research carried out by each of the member countries on the current situation with the recognition and the need for quality professional guidance systems. As to the structure of the interview and questionnaire, it was structured in three sections, namely:  Information about Qualify project & personal details  A set of open questions (7 in total)  A set of 18 statements focused on competences The content was elaborated by Fundación Coremsa but improved and agreed in a participative process by all partners. The interview and questionnaire were collected per e-mail and handed in paper. The interview and questionnaire templates are annexed in this report (Annexes 3 and 4).
